Monday morning is pædiatric consultation in the health center. What we see here is the waiting queue of mothers with children. Behind the building there are just about as many waiting, the pregnant women group.
Inside the building, this Monday, there’s only 1 nurse instead of the usual 3 to accommodate all these women …
In Europe, queues as long for basic health care are beyond imagination. Some women have walked a very long distance, knowing how low their chances are to find someone available inside, they will stand waiting all day in the hope to just get inside.
